Celebrating 20 Years of Personalized Service & Design-Build Excellence

Sunny House was founded by two longtime friends and partners, Nikolai and Sergei, with a passion for creating beautiful, functional homes for families throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut. With over a decade of remodeling experience, we understand firsthand the challenges of major renovations and work hard to make the process smooth, organized, and stress-free for every homeowner — because we’ve experienced it ourselves.

Since 2005, we’ve built our reputation on trust, reliability, and lasting relationships. Based in Norwalk, CT, Sunny House offers a streamlined design-build approach that guides clients from concept to completion with honest communication, quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Founder / Partner

Sergei

Sergei brings nearly 20 years of experience in the construction industry to Sunny House Design & Build. He works closely with clients throughout every stage of the project, helping ensure a smooth process, clear communication, and a finished home that clients truly enjoy long after completion.

Sergei has an educational background in business management and a degree in Mathematics. His analytical and detail-oriented approach helps clients navigate projects with confidence and clarity.

Outside of work, Sergei and his wife enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors in nature. He is also an active volunteer EMT with Stamford EMS, where he serves the local community during medical emergencies in his free time.

Nikolai

Nikolai brings a lifelong passion for home design and construction to Sunny House Construction. With his extensive skillset and experience, he is known for solving complex challenges through creative and practical solutions. His ability to think outside the box helps create well-executed projects and comfortable, functional spaces.
He has an educational background in design and Computer Science, combining technical knowledge with a strong design sensibility.
Outside of work, Nikolai enjoys spending quality time with his family in Wilton.
